QuantumScape Executives Capitalize on Stock Surge with Multi-Million Dollar Sales
QuantumScape executives have offloaded millions in company stock following a 208% rally in 2025, despite the electric-vehicle battery maker's lack of revenue. CEO Siva Sivaram led the sell-off, disposing of 120,000 shares worth over $2 million in late October. Chief Development Officer Mohit Singh followed suit, liquidating $3.3 million in holdings.
The sales occurred as TD Cowen nearly tripled its price target to $16 post-Q3 results, which revealed a $105.8 million loss offset by $12.8 million in customer billings. Sivaram retains a $65 million stake in the company, predominantly in restricted stock units.
Insider transactions included Chief Legal Officer Michael McCarthy's option exercises and subsequent sales netting $705,988. The moves highlight executive confidence in locking gains after the year's meteoric rise, while maintaining significant skin in the game.
